My stay at the Ambassadors Hotel was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the location so close to cultural events and restaurants, the condition of the room left much to be desired. It had a certain old-world charm, but overall, it felt quite dingy and uncomfortable for a longer stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was dark, cramped, and not well maintained, with issues like broken fixtures and poor drainage. A lot of the old charm was overshadowed by the uncomfortable conditions.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and made an effort to address my concerns, but the overall experience can't overlook the poor state of the accommodation.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was definitely a highlight. It was close to the festival I attended, making it very convenient for getting around the city.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was better than I expected, with basic options like cereals, toast, and coffee available. It was a decent start to the day, although simple.
Facilities
5.0
Given its age, the hotel had some charm, but not many modern facilities. The ancient lift and ambiance were nice touches, though overall amenities were lacking.

5.8/10

My stay at Ambassadors Hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location was super convenient right in the heart of the city. However, the hotel itself felt quite dated and needed some serious sprucing up. The room I stayed in was okay for just one night, but I wouldn't want to spend a week there given the noise and lack of amenities.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a room that had been recently painted and renovated. It was clean and tidy but lacked furniture like seating and a proper table. The soundproofing was pretty poor, and I could hear street noise and construction, which was annoying. Overall, it felt cramped.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth, and they tried to address my concerns, but the issues with the building overall overshadowed that.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in an excellent location right in downtown, close to nightlife and tram services. I loved being able to walk around and explore easily.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was pretty disappointing. It consisted of stale bread and jars of cereal, which didn't leave a great impression. Not worth the extra charge.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel's facilities felt a bit run down. The corridors were messy, and the lift had seen better days. Despite this, the basics were all there, like clean sheets and hot showers.

My stay at Ambassadors Hotel had its ups and downs. The central location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the room was quite dated and lacked decent wifi, making it a bit challenging to stay connected. If you're just looking for budget accommodation, it might suit your needs, but don’t expect luxury. 😅

Rooms
5.0
My room felt quite small and old, reminiscent of an outdated hospital room. It had basic amenities like a kettle and coffee, but the moldy smell and noisy gaps near the air conditioning were disappointing.
Service
8.0
The staff were fantastic, from the cleaning crew to those in the bar and breakfast area. Their friendly service made my stay much more pleasant.
Location
9.0
The location was truly ideal, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything, including the tram stop out front. I loved being able to walk around without worrying about parking.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was simple but sufficient; it was a nice way to start the day with a continental spread and no limits on portions.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had basic facilities, but there were definitely some areas that felt neglected. The vibe was casual and friendly, but the overall experience was quite basic.

6.8/10

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Ambassadors Hotel. While the location was fantastic and super central, the rooms left much to be desired. The breakfast was decent but very basic. Overall, the experience didn't meet my expectations, as there were more negatives than positives.

Rooms
5.0
I was not impressed with the room; it honestly reminded me of an old-fashioned hospital room. It looked much better in photos than in reality, and the noise from the alley didn’t help either.
Service
5.0
The staff were pretty unfriendly, which definitely affected my experience. I had a complaint, and they were dismissive, which felt really rude.
Location
8.0
The location is a big plus. It’s right in the center, and I could easily walk to many attractions. Being near tram and bus stops was also convenient.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was not great—just some stale cereal and lukewarm coffee. I expected a bit more variety. It was adequate but definitely the most basic I’ve experienced.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some basic facilities, but nothing that stood out as impressive. It felt like there were ongoing renovations, but many areas seemed old and run down.

6.8/10

I enjoyed my stay at the Ambassadors Hotel for its friendly staff and central location, but I did find the facilities a bit outdated. The morning breakfast was basic, yet sufficient for starting my day. I appreciated the warm atmosphere, though the noise from the street was quite disruptive at times.

Rooms
6.0
My room was quite spacious and had a nice big closet for storage, though it was overshadowed by the outdated decor. The bathroom was functional, but I noticed it lacked some essentials like a hairdryer, which was inconvenient.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process enjoyable, especially when they greeted us with a demonstration of the elevator. Their willingness to assist with our needs added to the comfort of my stay.
Location
8.0
I loved the proximity to various attractions and restaurants. It was great to have everything within walking distance, though being on the main road meant I was often woken up early by outside noise.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was adequate, offering cereals, toast, and drinks, though it felt a bit unappetizing at times. I think they could definitely improve the variety to make it more appealing.
Facilities
5.0
While the ancient elevator added character, the overall facilities could use a refresher. The amenities were quite basic, and the overall environment felt a bit chaotic with the surrounding construction noise.
